Their goal is to provide consumers free ongoing education to improve their financial lives.

Debt Management Credit Counseling announced today that it will join the nation’s efforts to raise awareness on financial literacy by releasing a new educational website, DMCC University. DMCC is helping to promote the importance of financial literacy and the need for financial education.
For over a decade, DMCC has committed to spreading financial education through their workshops and informative seminars. DMCC University incorporates their free educational materials to help consumers easily get the information they need. This new website contains worksheets, courses, calculators, videos and guides to help consumers determine where their finances need to be adjusted and also to assist them to stay on track until their financial goals are met. In addition, there is an extensive library of financial articles, information for military personnel and programs for those businesses and schools who would like to receive their partner benefits.
Over the years, DMCC has seen an increasing need to provide free financial literacy to people of all ages, nationalities and educational levels. “It really does not matter who you are, you need to know financial basics and build from there, DMCC University is structured to teach just that” said Jessica Francese, DMCC Education Coordinator. Anyone can read their free informative materials online or have one of their counselors teach the subjects in schools, community centers or place of business. “Nothing is more powerful than giving someone the education and proper tools to handle their own financial matters, and our team of certified credit and housing counselors is equipped to do that.”
