DMCC is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help consumers manage their personal finances. After registering at the Goodwill Prosperity Center, a DMCC counselor will contact each person and provide them their credit score from a major credit bureau and a written analysis with steps they can take to improve their credit. There is no charge or obligation for the credit score and analysis report. DMCC provides its credit analysis services along with free personal budget counseling, mortgage payment assistance, and financial education. Debt management plans to assist consumers with the repayment of credit card accounts, payday loans and collection accounts, are also available. Lower payments obtainable through debt management plans, combined with budgeting, is an option that enables many consumers to manage their monthly finances.
