The Broward Affordable Housing and Community Development Task Force is a nonprofit membership organization that promotes the development and preservation of quality affordable housing in Broward County, Florida. The Task Force members include government agencies, lenders, non-profit housing organizations, and for-profit companies and entrepreneurs. DMCC has been an active member since 2014.
DMCC is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help consumers manage their personal finances. Certified counselors from DMCC have participated regularly in Task Force meetings and events, and provided its housing counseling services to individuals and families in support of the Task Force efforts, throughout the year. “We feel privileged to be a member of the Task Force and are honored to win this award,” said Phil Heinemann, DMCC Executive Director. “DMCC was very instrumental in providing the Task Force with their time and services this past year, which accounted for several successful events we held throughout the year,” said Phyllis Brown, Task Force President. “The Broward Affordable Housing and Community Development Task Force has been in existence for over 20 years serving the Community in the area of affordable housing.
