Deerfield Beach, FL – Free Seminars Supporting National Consumer Protection Week (3/6 – 3/12/11)
Debt Management Credit Counseling Corp. (DMCC) is participating in National Consumer Protection Week (a Federal Trade Commission’s campaign) by hosting two days of free financial literacy seminars at our location. The seminars will cover an array of topics including:
- Budgeting smart
- Getting to know your credit report
- How your credit score is compiled
- Tips on preventing identity theft
- Wise use of credit
Seminars will be held at our facility on Wednesday, March 9 and Friday, March 11, 2011 at 10:00 am and again at 1:00 pm. To reserve your seat, please call 1-954-418-1466, extension 5903.
We are also offering our free financial literacy program, Debt, Money & Credit Concepts to anyone who would be interested in enhancing their fiscal knowledge. This program is offered through our website and can be taken at any time. Upon completion of the program, consumers will receive a certificate issued by us as well as letters that may be sent to each of the credit reporting agencies notifying the agencies of the consumers’ new found knowledge.
DMCC would also like for consumers to take advantage of the free educational materials it has to offer. Our materials inform the public on a wide variety of topics; all necessary information that can assist in making daily financial decisions.
